In the year ending March 2026, police in England and Wales recorded 312,250 vehicle offences (Source: ONS, Crime in England and Wales: year ending March 2026). That works out at roughly one recorded offence every 100 seconds.
That figure is down 11% on the previous year. Vehicle crime in England and Wales is falling, and we would rather tell you that ourselves than have you find it out later. It is still a number that describes a morning several hundred drivers have every day.
The problem with car security

- Faraday Pouch — relay attacks work by amplifying the signal from a keyless fob, so a car can be opened without the key ever leaving the house. The pouch is lined with signal-blocking material that forms a Faraday cage around your keys, designed to suppress the radio frequencies keyless entry systems rely on.
- Titan Raster — a compact GPS tracker that reports its location to your phone.
Layered protection, not gadgets
Our approach is simple: deter, block, and track. A visible lock is a physical barrier that does not depend on a battery or a signal. A Faraday pouch addresses the most common electronic attack. A tracker tells you where the vehicle is. Three layers, each covering a gap the others leave open.
What we will not tell you
We are not going to quote you a percentage for how much safer any of this makes you, or tell you what proportion of thieves walk away from a visible lock. We have not seen a study we would be willing to put our name to, and inventing one would be worse than saying nothing.
