The outer is a waterproof, windproof technical textile, the inner lining is fleece. Machine wash at 30°C on a delicate programme, coat zipped up and turned inside out, no bleach and no fabric softener. Air dry on a wide hanger, away from radiators and direct sun. Between washes, a damp cloth is enough for light marks; brush the lining gently to bring its loft back. Stored on a wide hanger rather than folded, the coat keeps its shape and its insulating power from one winter to the next.
